ORing Intelligent Transportation-Tunnel Monitoring System

Project Introduction

This is the project about deploying in tunnel monitoring system from middle to east of China for fast pass.  The total length of highway is about to 170 km.  There are several hills, mountains and 5-7 tunnels along with the highway.  In order to maintain, control and monitor tunnel status, ORing products are implemented into this project for providing the secure and reliable transportation system. The most important points for the project are to remote monitoring through high-end cameras in order to get real time information and megapixel data.  Hence, the solution should be solid enough to withstand the unfavorable conditions in tunnels, such as vibration, humidity, and temperature influence.  

The DI/DO devices of lighting system and ventilation system will be connected to the PLC.  The marquee data will be connected with ORing device server, IDS-5042 which enables the effective management of tunnel monitoring over the Ethernet Networking.  Then PLC is connected to Industrial Ethernet Switch, IES-3062FX which has 6 Fast Ethernet ports and 2x10/100 fiber ports, to transmit data from PLC to control center.  IES-3162GC switches are installed in underground tunnels to transfer the captured streams to the monitoring center from IP cameras.  All the data will be transmitted to the monitoring center via RGPS-7244GP.
